Qualifications

Job Summary

As Corporate Sustainability Manager at Novati (part of Reconomy), you will develop strong working relationships with our client base, demonstrating an understanding of the client’s needs and offering forward-thinking solutions.

You will be responsible for driving the business forward through innovative solutions, identifying new revenue streams, and presenting them at site and head office levels.

It will be your responsibility to gain and expand your knowledge of your client’s industry and the waste industry, using this knowledge to offer bespoke solutions aligned with the client’s needs and strategic plans, without compromising legislation, service provision, and margins.

Providing monthly statistical data analysis pertinent to the client’s requirements, including but not limited to:

  • Landfill diversion rates
  • Spend
  • Education & training support requirements
  • Market knowledge
  • Compliance updates & records
  • Service success

Typical duties and responsibilities include:

  • Providing weekly updates to the Head of Corporate Sustainability on weekly activities.
  • Preparing monthly reports for the Senior Corporate Sustainability Manager to present at the monthly management meeting.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and service details using our bespoke system, The Hub.
  • Monitoring and updating delivery/induction/support plans monthly.
  • Making well-thought-out decisions with minimal guidance.

Candidate Requirements
  • 2-5 years of Account Management experience within the waste industry.
  • Experience in upselling within your portfolio of accounts.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset to drive NOVATI forward.
  • Ability to make and implement strong business decisions.
  • Patience and resilience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Grade C or above in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.

Additional Information
  • Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Location: Primarily remote working from home.
