This position is based at our Development Center in Berlin, Germany.

1. Hiring and developing an engineering team responsible for design, development, and operations.
2. Managing and mentoring engineers, ensuring organizational health and career development.
3. Participating in strategic planning to meet technical and business goals, and managing resource allocation across multiple teams.
4. Leading design reviews and providing feedback on architecture, design, and operational issues.
5. Collaborating with Applied Scientists to deliver machine learning solutions.

• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and managing teams of Software Engineers.
• Experience designing or architecting scalable, reliable systems.
• Experience partnering with product and program management teams.
• Knowledge of engineering practices across the full software development lifecycle.
• Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
