The State Leadership Academy for Food, Agriculture and Forestry (FüAk) is an intermediate authority within the remit of the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Tourism with its headquarters in Landshut.

Location Landshut - up to A13 / up to EGr. 11 TV-L

We focus on innovation and progress in the field of digitalization and artificial intelligence. As part of the expansion of a competence center in the field of AI / knowledge management (currently 3 employees), we are looking for several motivated employees. They will play a central role in the implementation of AI technologies and optimization of knowledge management in the division and contribute to making our processes future-proof.

• Analyzing existing regulatory processes and identifying potential for optimization through knowledge management and the use of AI
• Analyzing, evaluating and optimizing existing databases for their usability for AI applications
• Advising specialist departments on the optimization of knowledge management and the implementation and use of AI solutions
• Viewing, preparing and connecting complex data sets for AI and generative AI applications.
• Developing and validating functional prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts to test data‑driven AI approaches and their practical applicability in official processes.
• Training of employees in the field of AI.

The specific scope of tasks depends on the existing qualifications and the individual scope of employment of the applicant.

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, business informatics, natural sciences, data science, artificial intelligence or a comparable course of study
• Qualification for entry into the third qualification level of the science and technology career path, specializing in administrative informatics or with several years of professional experience in the field of AI / knowledge management
• Very good knowledge of Python and SQL
• Sound knowledge in the development and use of AI models, especially with regard to generative AI
• Experience in the field of data preparation and analysis
• An advantage: Experience in agile project management
• Experience in public administration
• Strong analytical thinking skills combined with a methodical, goal‑oriented approach
• Teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly, concisely and appropriately to the target audience
• Service and service orientation
• Proficiency in written and spoken German to at least level C1 of the CEFR (to be demonstrated by an appropriate certificate if necessary)
