Overview

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Country Manager to lead our team in Germany. As the senior representative of Quest Software Data Solutions in the region, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth, managing and developing the German team, building strong customer and partner relationships, and expanding our presence in the market. This role reports directly to the VP EMEA.

Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and manage the Quest Data Solutions team in Germany across sales, pre-sales, and customer success functions.
  2. Strategic Direction: Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Germany, aligning local plans with global business objectives.
  3. Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive new business and cross-sell opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  4. Customer Success: Build and maintain trusted relationships with enterprise customers, ensuring long-term engagement and satisfaction.
  5. Market Expansion: Identify new industry sectors and growth opportunities to increase Quest’s footprint in the German market.
  6. Partner Ecosystem: Develop and strengthen partnerships with local resellers, integrators, and technology alliances.
  7. Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth local operations, compliance with regional regulations, and alignment with company processes.
  8. Brand Representation: Serve as the public face of Quest Data Solutions in Germany, participating in events, media engagements, and industry forums.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales and business leadership
  • Proven success in managing and scaling local or regional teams
  • Strong knowledge of the German enterprise IT landscape, especially in data management, analytics, and governance
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both German and English
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on and execution-focused
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with data governance, data intelligence, or similar technologies
  • Background with international software vendors or high-growth tech companies
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, IT, or related fields
