Job Opportunity: Onsite IT Support Technician (m/f/d)
Join our collaboration with a global strategic partner to deliver an enhanced digital workplace experience for thousands of users worldwide. We are seeking Onsite IT Support Technicians at various client locations across Germany, including Berlin, Potsdam, Dresden, Eschborn, Gerlingen, München, Hamburg, Markdorf, Ratingen, St Ingbert, St Leon Rot, and Walldorf.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of various IT systems, inspecting, prioritizing, and maintaining systems to high operational standards.
- Provide effective solutions for software and hardware issues.
- Respond to user inquiries and guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions.
- Record technical issues and solutions in the Knowledge Management System, updating knowledge articles as needed.
- Support end users through training and education.
What We Expect:
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Experience with handling ServiceNow tickets.
- Assistance with software deployment and related issues (standard and non-standard).
- Support for Microsoft Windows, Apple operating systems, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Guidance on IT devices and software for end users.
- Experience with hardware peripherals like monitors and label printers.
- Basic hardware support for desktops and laptops, including RAM upgrades, keyboard exchanges, and SSD replacements.
- Smart Hands experience supporting MFPs, printers, scanners, servers, and storage devices.
- Support for meeting room equipment, network cabling, Wi-Fi, routers, hubs, and switches.
- End user training and education.
- Willingness to work onsite at client locations.
- Strong commitment to quality service and good interpersonal skills.
