Sales Manager

- Implement all sales activities and maximize business opportunities.
- Manage and maintain strong, positive relations with all travel trade key accounts and business partners.
- Generate and maintain customers in the travel trade segment through various sales activities (face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment).
- Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales, telephone, fax, and written communications.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of your portfolio, covering all departments and account management for optimal client servicing, achieving targets, and maximum productivity.
- Quote and negotiate prices within established parameters with potential and existing clients. Prepare contracts for clients.
- Plan sales trips or attend trade shows and exhibitions under the direct approval and guidance of the DOSM, and in coordination with International Sales Offices where applicable.
- Arrange site inspections of the hotel and host FAM trips.
- Attend major travel functions and promotional events (e.g., trade shows) to promote sales (rooms, catering, and other facilities and services) for the hotel.
- Maintain a full working knowledge of IT support tools used in sales today, including sales-specific software, property PMS, and the Microsoft Office suite.
Qualifications :
As our Sales Manager, you will lead the development of our sales strategy, foster strong relationships with clients, and drive business growth. Your innovative approach will help us create memorable experiences, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly.
- At least 3-5 years of sales experience in a 5-star hotel, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, email).
- Positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong leadership qualities.
- Previous experience in Sales, especially in Leisure, is essential.
