POSITION SUMMARY
Ensure staff works together as a team to provide optimal service and meet guest needs. Inspect staff grooming and attire, and rectify deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing premises. Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness. Conduct scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being. Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy. Follow all company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Maintain a professional appearance, confidentiality, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards, anticipate and address needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop positive relationships, support team efforts, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns. Ensure compliance with quality standards, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings. Read and verify information visually, inspect tools and equipment, and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and maneuvering objects up to 50 pounds. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
