All phases of the prototype and product development cycle including: Requirement’s definition & architecture; FPGA digital design; Implementing FPGA IP, unit test; IP/hardware integration; & Hardware bring-up, verification and validation.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct and oversee code development, design reviews, testing, debugging, and IP/hardware integration.
2. Architect, develop, and integrate FPGA and CPLD solutions to support feasibility analysis, design, and implementation for an array of end user products.
3. FPGA logic design, coding, simulation, and testing.
4. Support hardware and software development teams in bring-up and test of products.
5. Provide subject-matter expertise regarding design and automated test development procedures to customers and production support team.
6. Debugging and stressing the design in the lab.
7. Synthesis, implementation, and timing analysis.
8. Design or direct the development of unique or leading-edge technology, hardware, equipment, or systems to meet specific mission requirements.
9. Work closely in engineering team efforts related to the study, development, and test of hardware, data system components, or equipment.
10. Design and test advanced digital logic implemented in Very High-Speed Integrated Circuit (VHSIC) Hardware Description Language (VHDL).
11. Perform additional data systems and analysis work as required.
12. Simulate digital circuits (behavioral and timing) to ensure that performance, timing, and power requirements are all satisfied.
13. Debug digital systems at the circuit level.
14. Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies.
15. Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI EH&S policies and procedures.

Requirements:

1. Experience with Amaranth HDL, RISC V, Python, Linux.
2. Experience with LiteX FPGA Framework for building SoCs (System-On-A-Chip).
3. Experience with YoSYS, Verilator.
4. Experience with OpenLANE and Caravel in the context of FPGAs and chip design.
5. Experience in Design Verification, Simulation, and Validation.
6. A presence on GitHub and a track record of published Open Source projects/code (own project or contribution to other people's projects).
