Overview
Test Analyst - Supply Chain Finance: Overview of a candidate with 7+ years of software testing and quality assurance experience, including 3 years in a test lead capacity, with banking domain experience in SCF and Trade Finance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and validate RTMs, test cases, test plans, test strategies, and test closure documents.
- Proficient in SIT UAT, functional, integration, and regression testing, including end-to-end testing across front-end and back-end systems.
- Conduct requirement analysis, gap analysis between BRD and FSD, defect tracking, triage meetings, and change request discussions.
- Handle application and package deployments on both database and application servers, including validation of financial transactions and services.
- Manage UAT projects end-to-end, coordinate with IT for environment setup, maintain version control and retrospectives.
- Coordinate test activities with business users, vendors, and support teams for test execution, defect resolution, and documentation.
- Prepare effort estimations, capacity planning, dashboards, and daily/weekly status reports for senior management.
- Ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards, maintain testing artifacts, and support UAT coordination and sign-off.
- Demonstrate team-building, mentoring, and leadership of cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software testing and quality assurance experience, including 3 years in a test lead capacity, with banking domains like SCF and Trade Finance.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Core Banking, Treasury, Deposits, Limits, and Trade Finance transaction types, including experience with Ethix and Eximbills systems.
- Skilled in Putty, SSH Shell, Rapid SQL, PL SQL Developer, SQL Server, Citrix, ETL Informatica, and Crystal Reports.
- Experience in requirement analysis, BRD vs FSD gap analysis, defect tracking, triage meetings, and change request discussions.
- Experience in handling application and package deployments on database and application servers, including validation of financial transactions and services.
- Experience managing UAT projects end-to-end, environment setup coordination, and maintaining version control and retrospectives.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with business users, vendors, and support teams for test execution, defect resolution, and documentation.
- Experience in preparing effort estimations, capacity planning, dashboards, and status reports for senior management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
