Our team of experts is looking for a passionate and driven Warehouse Outbound Team Leader to join the Absolute Pets team at Gauteng Warehouse in Kempton Park.
- Responsible for assisting the Assistant Warehouse Manager with the Outbound functions of the warehouse i.e. picking packing quality checking distribution fleet management etc.
- Complete and submit daily weekly and monthly reports / statistics to management.
- Ensure that agreed outbound metrics are achieved and that there is a high level of delivery from the team to achieve these metrics.
- Ensure that short picks are at a minimum and that the outbound team are held accountable.
- Assist with weekly cycle counts and investigate any inventory losses.
- IBT management and store communication Comply with agreed SLAs as per instruction from line manager.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the outbound team.
- Maintain a high level of discipline accountability and adherence to processes with the team.
- Organise and maintain stock and storage areas in the outbound area.
- Ensure that set outbound deadlines and targets are achieved.
- Adherent to agreed outbound processes to ensure accuracy efficiency and productivity is met by the team.
- Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- The completion of ad hoc duties as assigned by the Assistant Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Manager.
