SUMMARY : Phakisa Holdings is currently seeking a Site Supervisor with 5+ years of experience in mechanical projects involving high and low voltage systems. Must hold NQF Level 6 in Mechanical Engineering or N6 with Mechanical trade test. Valid Wireman's License preferred.

POSITION INFO : Job Title : Site Supervisor - Vaal - Vereeniging

Responsibilities

Job Purpose : To provide on-site leadership, technical supervision, and coordination for mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair projects, specifically focusing on systems involving high and low voltage equipment. Responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, in full compliance with OHSA and all relevant regulations.

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team on site.
• Plan, assign, and direct daily work activities.
• Oversee mechanical systems installation, maintenance, and repair.

SHEQ (Safety, Quality, and Environment)

• Enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Ensure work near high and low voltage equipment follows safety procedures.
• Monitor job hazards and controls, and report incidents.

Administrative & Reporting

• Maintain accurate site documentation.
• Monitor project progress and budget.

Client & Stakeholder Relations

• Act as the primary client contact on site.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and contractors for project execution.

Minimum Requirements

• NQF Level 6 Mechanical Engineering or N6 with Mechanical trade test.
• 5+ years supervisory experience in high and low voltage mechanical projects.
• In-depth knowledge of OHS Act regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
• Valid, unendorsed Code 08 (B) driver\'s license.
