Job summary
A leading mining company is seeking a highly trained Officer for Asset Protection in Gauteng. The role involves supervising security personnel, monitoring access controls and CCTV systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Ideal candidates will have a Grade 12 qualification, valid PSIRA registration, and over five years of supervisory experience in security. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining a safe environment for employees and visitors by managing potential risks and ensuring effective security measures are in place.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory security role, preferably in a corporate office.
- Fully registered with PSIRA as a Grade A or Grade B Security Officer.
- Valid driver's license required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise security personnel to ensure service delivery.
- Monitor and operate access control and CCTV systems.
- Conduct regular reviews of security procedures.
