Overview

Specialising in premium pet foods and accessories Absolute Pets is the leading pet retailer in South Africa with over 170 stores across the country.

Our team of experts is looking for a passionate and driven Warehouse Outbound Team Leader to join the Absolute Pets team at Gauteng Warehouse in Kempton Park.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting the Assistant Warehouse Manager with the Outbound functions of the warehouse i.e. picking packing quality checking distribution fleet management etc.
• Complete and submit daily weekly and monthly reports / statistics to management.
• Ensure that agreed outbound metrics are achieved and that there is a high level of delivery from the team to achieve these metrics.
• Ensure that short picks are at a minimum and that the outbound team are held accountable.
• Assist with weekly cycle counts and investigate any inventory losses.
• IBT management and store communication Comply with agreed SLAs as per instruction from line manager.
• Provide guidance and leadership to the outbound team.
• Maintain a high level of discipline accountability and adherence to processes with the team.
• Organise and maintain stock and storage areas in the outbound area.
• Ensure that set outbound deadlines and targets are achieved.
• Adherent to agreed outbound processes to ensure accuracy efficiency and productivity is met by the team.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• The completion of ad hoc duties as assigned by the Assistant Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Manager.
