Job summary

A mining company based in Rustenburg seeks an Administrative Supervisor - Materials to oversee the effective receiving and distribution of materials. The ideal candidate must have a Grade 12 certificate with Accounting and Maths, a Logistics/Materials Management Certificate, and a minimum of 3 years experience in the mining/finance environment. Proficiency in SAP and a valid medical certificate are also essential. Preference will be given to designated groups as per the Employment Equity Act.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the mining/finance environment.
  • Valid Medical certificate or medically fit.

Responsibilities

  • Distribute Picking Slips to Issuers and allocate receiving to material handlers.
  • Create Stock Transfer Orders (STO's) on SAP.
  • Plan and organize daily material dispatch to end-users underground.

Skills

Computer literacy (MS Office Package)
Knowledge of Mines Health and Safety Act
Knowledge of materials and store keeping practices
Knowledge of Logistics and Distribution
Knowledge of SAP Materials module (PTP)

Education

Grade 12 certificate with Accounting and Maths
Logistics/Materials Management Certificate or NQF 5 equivalent
