Job Description
Invictus Education Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our finance team. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, accruals, and provisions.
2. Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile company bank statements daily to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.
3. Petty cash/credit card reconciliation and processing.
4. Financial Reporting: Prepare and generate:
1. Financial reports,
2. Cashflow forecast (weekly and monthly),
3. Management accounts.
5. Filing and admin of financial documentation.
6. Audit Support: Assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
7. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications: Diploma/degree in accounting or related field preferred or at a minimum studying towards.
2. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
3. Software: Proficient in accounting software, such as SAGE Intacct and proficient in Excel.
4. Analytical Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
8. Able and willing to work in a fast-moving, deadline-driven but exciting environment.
