We are currently seeking a Branch Manager with experience in industrial insulation, piping, or fabrication to lead branch operations in Durban. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, manage staff, maintain client relationships, and drive growth within the region.
- Minimum : Matric / Grade 12
- Advantageous : Technical Diploma (Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, Operations, or similar)
- Experience in industrial insulation, fabrication, construction, or related technical environment
- 3–5 years of experience in branch management / operations / site management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Valid Driver’s License & willingness to travel locally when required.
- Oversee daily branch operations and workflow
- Manage and mentor branch staff
- Maintain strong customer relationships and client retention
- Prepare budgets, cost control, and ensure profitability
- Drive new business development and sales activities
- Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations
- Reporting to Head Office on operational and financial performance
- Control operational costs and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Approve procurement, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective sourcing.
- Analyse financial data to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure all work meets industry standards (SANS standards, insulation specifications, metal fabrication requirements).
- Implement continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation, job cards, and compliance records.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent understanding of industrial insulation, cladding, and sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Solid financial acumen and strategic planning abilities.
- Strong negotiation, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, material requirements, and project specifications.
- Knowledge of safety standards and industry regulations.
