Job description

Location: Cape Town

Salary: Market related with Medical Aid / Provident Fund

Our client in the hospitality industry is seeking a Food and Beverage Host to join their team at a luxury hotel in Cape Town.

Host / Hostess Duties (but not limited to):

Greet customers and manage the seating area.
Distribute menus to customers and handle phone calls professionally.
Maintain an accurate waitlist and direct customers to coatrooms, restrooms, or waiting areas as needed.
Notify supervisors of large parties and ensure reservations are efficiently distributed among waiter stations.
Inform waiters of any special requests from customers.

Requirements:

Grade 12 education is required.
A formal qualification is an advantage.
Computer literacy is essential.
