A food manufacturing company is seeking a dedicated Food Safety Co‑Ordinateur to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will manage food safety systems, conduct audits, train staff, and ensure compliance with regulations. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in food manufacturing and a qualification in Food Safety or related field. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Matric (Grade 12) is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Sound knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and food safety legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain Food Safety Management Systems.
  • Conduct internal audits and inspections.
  • Train staff on food safety practices.
  • Manage non-conformances and corrective actions.
