Job summary

A hotel recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Reservations Manager for a hotel at Cape Town Airport. The successful candidate will lead the reservations team, optimize booking operations, and ensure excellent guest relations. A formal hospitality qualification and 3–5 years of relevant experience are required. Strong knowledge of property management systems and excellent organizational skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in hotel reservations management.
  • Experience with online booking platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the reservations department.
  • Manage reservations staff and their training.
  • Monitor room inventory, rates, and availability.
  • Implement strategies to increase bookings.
  • Maintain excellent guest relationships.
  • Generate reports on reservations and revenue metrics.
