About the Role: We are a reputable accounting firm in Lynnwood seeking a motivated Snr Accountant.
- Technically strong in accounting policy and taxation (VAT, PAYE, IT, DIVIDENDS)
- Training and management of group of junior accountants
- Client interaction and problem solving.
- Proficient with sageware (Pastel, SARS efiling, Caseware, SageOne, etc.)
- SAIPA Professional Accountant qualification articles completed
- 3 / 4 years post articles
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and SARS eFiling.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport preferred.
- Ability to lead Junior Accountants.
- Exposure to a variety of accounting functions and client industries.
