Job summary

A leading fast-food restaurant in Pretoria is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee operations, ensuring food quality and compliance with procedures. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in restaurant service, strong management and organizational skills, and the ability to motivate staff to meet sales targets. This role requires excellent customer service skills to deal with complaints and maintain high service levels, along with adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year related experience required.
  • Knowledge of GAAP / Micros is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee overall operation of the restaurant / take-away.
  • Ensure quality standards of food and PEDROS Standard Operating Procedures are maintained.
  • Manage stock control, purchasing, and orders.
  • Handle customer complaints and maintain service levels.
  • Maximize profitability and meet sales and GP% targets.
  • Manage staff discipline and work rosters.
  • Drive the restaurant / take-away forward within a team.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
