In order to be considered the following is required:
  • Degree in a relevant field (NQF 7 or above)
  • 8+ years’ experience in programme/project management
  • Extensive knowledge of foreign payments (SWIFT, ISO 20022, AML/CTF, exchange control)
  • Preferably registered with a professional body (e.g., PMSA, PMI)
  • Banking industry exposure and experience in multinational corporate settings
  • Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships across diverse contexts
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines and complex programmes
  • Expertise in risk and compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with cross-border payment systems and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in programme governance methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile)
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at executive level
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement change strategies aligned with project and business objectives
  • Deploy integrated risk management, governance, and compliance frameworks across programmes
  • Manage and coach teams to achieve performance targets and human capital objectives
  • Demonstrate leadership through values-driven behaviours and visible commitment
  • Compile actionable reports and dashboards to guide informed business decisions
  • Apply strategic thinking to delivery plans in partnership with leadership
  • Oversee multiple related projects ensuring alignment with organisational goals

  • Prepare portfolio-level reports tracking progress and guiding decision-making
