Job summary
A logistics company in Midrand is seeking a Warehouse Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely reordering of consumables. Candidates should have Matric, relevant experience, and good computer skills, particularly in Excel. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.

- Reliable, organised, and able to work under minimal supervision.

- Record all stock received, issued, and returned.
- Prepare and process stock and purchase requisitions.
- Assist with monthly and ad hoc stock counts.

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for keeping accurate records of all stock and consumables, ensuring items are properly documented, stored, and reordered on time to support daily operations.
- Record all stock received, issued, and returned.
- Keep stock sheets and system records up to date.
- Monitor stock and consumable levels daily and alert when reordering is needed.
- Prepare and process stock and purchase requisitions.
- File and maintain delivery notes, invoices, and other related documents.
- Assist with monthly and ad hoc stock counts.
- Help check and verify deliveries against purchase orders.
- Maintain an organised and tidy storeroom or warehouse area.
- Matric (Grade 12)
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory administration role or relevant degree.
- Good computer literacy (MS Excel and basic data entry).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work under minimal supervision.
