A recruitment agency seeks a Project Support Specialist in Singapore to oversee onboarding and implementation projects. Key responsibilities include collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance new business operations, managing key project meetings, and developing Standard Operating Procedures. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry. Proficiency in key Microsoft tools and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

- Familiar with either air or ocean freight operations.
- Quick adaptability to new systems and software.

The role supports the Project Manager/Implementation Manager in executing implementation and enhancement projects for both internal and external stakeholders. This includes collaborating with internal teams (Department Managers, Operations Managers, Regional Account Managers) and external clients to successfully onboard and stabilize new business operations.
- Plan, Manage, and Execute: Oversee the implementation and onboarding of new businesses.
- Support Projects and Initiatives: Assist the Program/Project Manager with various internal and external customer projects by:
- Creating GANTT charts.
- Designing project flow diagrams.
- Developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conducting training sessions for local branch offices.
- Managing key progress meetings and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Automating reports.
- Enhancing and deploying Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
- Implementing new EDI solutions with IT teams.
- Driving process improvements.
- Creating and reviewing Work Instructions (WI) developed by other account teams.
- Offering consultation and business support to Regional IT.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Quick adaptability to new systems and software.
- Experience in freight forwarding operations, with knowledge of exports or imports (preferably both).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent schedule management.
- Effective time management skills.
- A collaborative team player.
- Responsible, with the ability to work remotely and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional language proficiency is a bonus.
- Preferbyl Diploma/ Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, International Business, or related fields.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding/logistics industry & familiar with either air or ocean freight operations
