Job summary
A leading engineering firm based in Singapore is looking for a Product Manager who will oversee the entire product lifecycle from development to launch. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in engineering and have over 8 years of experience in semiconductor equipment development. The role involves managing customer relationships, leading engineering teams, and developing technical solutions while ensuring compliance with specifications. Strong project management and communication skills are essential.
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in semiconductor equipment development with good cost management skills.
- Strong knowledge of automation and thermal control.
- Leadership and team management skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee product management throughout its lifecycle.
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders and manage project proposals.
- Support field service and manage equipment issues.
Skills
Education
- Overall owner of the product throughout the entire product life cycle.
- Maintaining relationship with customers, suppliers, service provider, and contractors.
- Technicalleader in sales and marketing activities. Includes customer facing,presentation in technical forum / trade show, etc.
- Leader of the engineering team, work with R&D team and system architect on overall solution development
- Leader of the project team responsible for project proposal, timeline, specification, & cost.
- Review customer requirement & specification and ensure compliances
- Product costing analysis and design optimization to meet cost target.
- Prepare product presentation material for sales and presenting to customer.
- Liaise with NPI team, MFG team, QA team for equipment build and product launching preparation
- Define product acceptance criteria, manage product acceptance process.
- Support field service team and manage onsite equipment issue.
- Manage product improvement program
Degree in engineering or higher in Mechanical / Electrical / Automation / Robotics or related discipline
8 years or more working experience in semiconductor equipment development with good product cost management skill.
Good technical knowledge about automation & thermal control and able to apply in development.
Good communication and customer facing skill.
Strong in project management skill
Strong leadership and team management skill.
