About the role
Niumoperates one of the most extensive real-time payment networks in the world — supporting pay-ins, payouts, FX, and collections across 190+ countries and 100+ currencies. At thecenterof this network is theplatform and integration layerthat makes every product work — whetherit’sdelivering payroll in Southeast Asia, collecting from merchants in Europe, or funding accounts in North America.
This role provides thebackbone that powersall ofNium’score products, ensuring they function reliably, securely, and at scale across geographies. From enabling real-time partner connections to orchestrating transaction flows behind the scenes, this platform layer is what makes our products interoperable and globally deployable.
Key Responsibilities
AtNium, product management is about both product discovery and product delivery. You will be passionate about the problem, more than the solution. You willvalidatesolutions from multiple angles before executing.
You will write product specifications, epics/user stories to help steer changes for the SME platform. You will work with product/tech teams to share requirements, coordinate atdetailedlevel to develop features and deliver high quality product.
You will work directly with engineeringteams, andshould havegoodunderstanding about the software development practices, system design, and havegood-enoughtechnical knowledge to debate with engineers on solutioning.
You will continuously explore and work towards improving the core of the SME Platform by staying well-read onthe industrytrends and staying connected to clients and client implementation teams.
Collaborate closely with multiple product and business stakeholders to drive alignment and prioritization, keeping customer value as top priority.You will juggle multiple complex problems and prioritize based on data and impacttothe business.
You will evolve into and work as a subject matter expert and visionary for the overall SME Platform.
You have a growth mindset to expand your area of expertise over time, challenge assumptions, not be afraid to ask tough questions, and pave the way for the next phase of growth forNium’sSME business.
Lead a team of PMs and collaborate deeply with Engineering, Ops, and Infrastructure
Build a strong culture of systems thinking, customer empathy, and operational rigor
