Job summary
A clinical research organization in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional to supervise quality assurance operations. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Science or Engineering along with relevant experience. Key responsibilities involve supervising daily operations, planning quality objectives, and training QA staff. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with QC tools are essential. Qualifications
- Degree in Science/Engineering or a relevant discipline with relevant working experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
- Knowledge of QC tools and statistical techniques.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and control the daily operation in QAC.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute quality objectives and projects.
- Provide training for QA staff and identify training needs.

- Supervise and control the daily operation in QAC by planning work and manpower arrangement for optimization of efficiency.
- Review and approve quality records and other documents.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute objectives, projects, and quality procedures.
- Plan, review, and update QA procedures and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and recommend corrective actions by analysing quality results and making sound judgement.
- Liaise and coordinate with related parties on inquiries and complaints.
- Perform internal calibration/verification and external calibration of QA equipment.
- Ensure the maintenance and calibration status of the test and measuring equipment is proper.
- Train new QA Inspectors, Leaders, Senior Leaders, Supervisors, Senior Supervisors, and Controllers.
- Identify training needs and recommend relevant training for staff.
- Perform QA Supervisor/Senior Supervisor related jobs if deemed necessary or as instructed by QA Controller and above.
- Perform other QA related jobs as instructed by QA Controller and above.
- Report to superior and above for any quality related incident or any incident that may impact quality.
- Degree in Science/Engineering or a relevant discipline with relevant working experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
- Knowledge of QC tools and statistical techniques.
- Background or knowledge of ISO 13485 / ISO 9001.
- Good communication and writing skills in English.
