Housekeeping Assistant
Job summary
A leading hospitality company is seeking a dedicated individual for housekeeping duties at its location in Genting Highlands. The ideal candidate will efficiently clean assigned rooms, maintain hygiene standards, and communicate in simple English and Bahasa Malaysia. Qualifications
- Basic communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are required.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently cleans assigned number of rooms per day.
- Ensures all assigned service areas are clean and tidy.
- Maintains cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas.
- Follows cleaning programs as directed.
- Packs and replenishes trolleys at end of shifts.
- Reports stock shortages to supervisor.

- Efficiently cleans assigned number of rooms per day, keeping within departmental standards
- Ensures all assigned service areas are clean and tidy
- Ensures all assigned areas are kept clean, safe, and hygienic
- Ensures additional cleaning programmes are undertaken as directed and to the performance standards required
- Packs and replenishes trolleys to the required standard at the end of each shift, minimizing lost time at the start of each shift
- Advises Supervisor / Manager of any stock shortages, minimizing delays in servicing rooms
- Able to read and write simple English and Bahasa Malaysia
