Responsibilities
  • This is a key managerial role within the Center of Excellence (CoE) in finance department based in Kuala Lumpur specialising in Income/Revenue Audit.
  • Revenue Verification: The CoE ensures that all incomes received is accurately recorded and reconciled. This includes auditing income streams from various business segments such as Hotels, F&B and Theme Park.
  • Audit Controls: Maintain a strong framework of internal controls for income recognition, auditing processes, and income related reporting.
  • Process improvements: Identifying and implementing automation tools and software to streamline the reconciliation process.
  • People & Leadership: Lead and develop a team of finance professionals with approx. 15 staff and executives (including direct & indirect). Foster a collaborative environment and provide training, coaching, and feedback to enhance team performance.
Qualifications
  • Must be a member of professional accounting body (E.g. MIA, ICAEW, ACCA, MACPA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 8 years accounting and/or audit experience. Preferably with at least two years at similar shared services role.
  • Meticulous, highly organized and strong leadership qualities.
  • Experience in using RPA or AI tools in finance processes would be added advantage.
