Join the Global CoC-Chassis team at ZF, a collaborative group focused on delivering innovative chassis solutions worldwide. The team works closely with portfolio management and engineering functions to ensure technical excellence and compliance across global markets.
- Ensure technical product compliance with internal ZF specifications, processes, and external requirements (substances, certifications, OE/customer specifications) for conventional shock absorbers.
- Execute product engineering tasks according to ZF GD-PEPs for aftermarket, including benchmarking, specification definition, technical design, documentation, sample testing, validation, homologation, and product release (PEDA).
- Deliver projects on time, within quality standards, and budget for new product releases and changes to existing products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development and compliance activities globally.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive); Automotive Engineering preferred.
- Product Development Engineering experience. Design/development experience in conventional/CDC/air spring shock absorbers.
- Strong knowledge of shock absorber development processes (valve tuning, damping force interpretation)/Familiarity with shock absorber manufacturing processes and quality control.
- ≥3 years of engineering experience with exposure to process and quality control.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and operate measurement equipment (CMM, 3D scanner, gauges).
- Excellent English (spoken and written)/Strong communication and teamwork skills; cross-functional collaboration experience.
