Service Engineer (Science/Chemical) At Shah Alam - Contract
Job summary
A prominent service provider in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical support for pulp and paper mills. Responsibilities include meeting clients, conducting site surveys, checking chemical performance, and performing equipment maintenance. Candidates should have a Technical Diploma/Degree, communication skills in English, Bahasa, and Mandarin, and at least 1-2 years of field service experience. Fresh graduates are welcome. Travel will be required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years in providing on-site service works in the field of pulp & paper mill.
- Able to interact with customers and assist in enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Have own transportation and willing to travel (outstation).
Responsibilities
- Meeting with the customer to determine the nature of the service and support for pulp & paper mill.
- Provide testing and on-site technical services management at customers plants.
- Check chemical dosing and routine monitoring of chemical performance.
- Conducting routine dosing equipment servicing and maintenance out in the field.
- Maintain housekeeping at allocated areas within customer premises.
- Conduct site survey and obtain samples for laboratory analysis.

- Able to interact with customers and assist in enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Assist account manager/engineer in start-up of chemical treatment program and troubleshooting in customer facilities.
- Have own transportation and willing to travel (outstation).
