Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar energy market to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including solar EPCs, commercial & residential clients, developers, and industry partners.
- Conduct client consultations and present tailored solar PV solutions, addressing energy needs, technical queries, and financial considerations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with campaigns and enhance lead generation effectiveness.
- Prepare and present proposals, cost estimates, and contracts in line with company standards and solar industry regulations.
- Stay up to date with solar technology advancements, market trends, and government policies/incentives to refine sales strategies.
- Lead contract negotiations and successfully close deals while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Represent the company at solar expos, industry forums, and networking events to strengthen brand presence and engage potential clients.
- Track and analyze sales KPIs, offering insights and strategic recommendations to optimize sales performance and profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales or business development within the renewable energy sector, ideally in solar energy.
- Strong understanding of solar energy solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to simplify and present complex technical information.
- Results-driven mindset with a history of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- Ability to independently manage multiple client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems or other sales tools.
- Passionate about renewable energy and committed to promoting sustainable solutions.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
