Responsibilities

• Production machinery and equipment’s servicing, minor repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Lighting, wall fan and extension wire maintenance.
• Close monitoring and maintenance of compressed air system.
• Identifies work EHS issues and suggest corrective action.
• Responsible to manage, co-ordinate and implement EHSMS and to ensure that all procedures and forms are properly executed and filed at all times.
• To assist in development of safety and health rules and safe systems of work;
• To review the effectiveness of safety and health programmes;
• To promote and develop a high level of Health, Safety, and Environmental awareness and commitment to all personnel.
• To provide technical / advisory support for Health, Safety, and Environmental program.
• To participate in reviews and audits and report findings
• To analyze accident trends, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease at the work place.
• To report to the employer of any unsafe or unhealthy condition or practices at the place of work together with recommendations for corrective actions;
• To review the Health, Safety, and Environmental policies at the place of work and make recommendations to the employer for any revision of such policies
• To review with Management Representative in conducting any competition, talks and activities to promote a safe conduct of work.
• To inspect the place of work at least once (1) in 3 months
• To assists all the Management Representative in inspecting the workplace as soon as it is safe to do so, after any accident, near miss occurrence, dangerous occurrences, which has occurred.
• To assist the Management Representative in assessing the Health, Safety, & Environmental consequence of any proposed changes in the processes or methods.
• Adherence to the ISO 13485:2016 requirements is effectively carried out.
• Ensure that the implementation of the ISO14001 & ISO45001 requirements are effectively carried out.
• To promote and develop a high level of Health, Safety & Environmental awareness and commitment.
• Ensure the EHS requirements of the workplace are met.
• Adhere to safety and health rules and safe systems of work
• Wearing Personal Protection Equipment.

Job Requirement and Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electric) or in equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in machine maintenance function.
• Strong background in handling maintenance tools, equipment’s and machinery.
• Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with all the necessary requirements.
