A technology solutions provider is seeking a Jasper Developer to enhance large-scale enterprise applications. The candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in developing complex reports with Jaspersoft, participating in the full SDLC, and collaborating in an Agile/Scrum setup. Responsibilities include developing key features, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with development methodologies. Interested candidates should possess advanced knowledge of Jaspersoft BI architecture and be able to lead technical teams.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in Jasper development.
- Proven skills in developing key product features in enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience in developing Complex Reports using Jaspersoft Server and Jaspersoft Studio
- Understand the Overall architecture of Jaspersoft BI
- Experience in creating Ad Hoc Reports, OLAP, Views, Domains
- Experience in creating dashboards with visualizations
- Experience in security and auditing, metadata layer
- Experience in leading a technical team and Interacting with stakeholders for requirement gathering and Analysis
- Knowledge of Jasper report deployment and configuration
- Knowledge of Jaspersoft Architecture and Deployment
- Good knowledge ETL design and development, logical and physical data modeling (relational and dimensional)
- Develop key product features within existing large-scale enterprise applications and new strategic initiatives
- Participate in the full SDLC involving design, implementation, testing, and launching
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (QA, Business Analyst, Tech Pubs, etc.) in an Agile/Scrum team environment
- Assist with the generation and analysis of business and functional requirements for proposed software solutions
- Provide project estimations
- Support project manager during planning and development phases
- Ensure development compliance with established development methodologies, company policies and security standards
- Evaluate emerging technologies, application architecture, development trends/methods and industry best practices
- Develop code based on design specification
- Perform code reviews
- Create design specifications, documentation, and unit testing plans as defined by the Agile development process
- Build software solutions where the problem is not well-defined; Design and define the interaction between the other component pieces
- Maintain and support software solutions post-production
- Implement and debug some of the more involved/complex functionality
