A leading electronics company in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking an Operator for packaging and material handling. The role involves assembling packaging materials, performing quality checks, and operating equipment while maintaining cleanliness in compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have at least an SPM or technical certificate and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Assemble packaging materials (boxes, forms, anti‑static bags, etc.) as required.
Perform visual inspection of finished goods to ensure no defects before packaging.
Ensure all information (quantity, part number, variant, serial number) is correct before sealing and boxing.
Operate packaging equipment and tools according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Maintain packaging area cleanliness (5S) and comply with ESD, safety, and quality standards.
Report any non‑conformances, or material shortages to the line leader.
Work collaboratively with quality, production, and warehousing teams to meet daily output.
Minimum SPM / Certificate in Manufacturing, Production, or related field.
Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in packaging or assembly in electronics or PCBA manufacturing environment.
Ability to read production orders, packaging instructions, and product specifications.
Willing to work shifts or overtime when required.
Able to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy.
Prepare reels, tray and other component for SMT machine.
Check and verify material against picking list and production order.
Bake, seal and store components as per material handling guidelines.
Report material shortage and damage immediately to team leader.
Retrieve unused materials after production and return to storage following FIFO.
SPM or technical certificate or equivalent.
1‑2 years of experience in SMT or electronic manufacturing environment.
Familiar with SMT material such as resistor, capacitor, ICs and etc.
Familiar with feeder types.
