Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of Chinese dishes according to recipes and portion standards.
  • Prepare ingredients, including washing, chopping, marinating, and measuring.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Follow hygiene, food safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Assist in plating and garnishing dishes to meet presentation standards.
  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify the Chef de Partie of shortages.
  • Assist in receiving and checking deliveries for quality and quantity.
  • Follow instructions from senior chefs and contribute positively to the kitchen team.
  • Participate in training sessions to develop skills in Chinese cuisine.
  • Support other kitchen sections when necessary.
