Job summary
A modern restaurant in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Chef De Partie to join their culinary team. Responsibilities include preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations, and training junior staff. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, strong cooking skills, and can work in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from RM4,000 – RM6,000, bonuses, and opportunities for career advancement.

- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation.

Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes.
- Manage daily operations of the assigned kitchen station.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

- Manage the daily operations and workflow of your assigned kitchen station
- Ensure proper food handling, storage and sanitation procedures are followed
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and other members of the culinary team
- Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean, well‑organised and efficient work environment
- Adhere to all health, safety and food hygiene regulations
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
- Excellent time management, multitasking and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work well in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
- Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
- A team player with the ability to lead and inspire junior kitchen staff
- Proficient in both Malay and English languages
- Position level and salary will be based on experience and performance during the interview.
