Job summary

A food and beverage company based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced account manager to handle full set accounts and financial reporting activities. Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry, and possess strong skills in SQL and Excel. The role requires detail-oriented individuals capable of multitasking and managing deadlines effectively. Immediate availability is an advantage.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts (AP & AR) and all financial reporting activities.
• Monitor full set accounting for all branches from bookkeeping entry to full accounts.
• Manage debtors and creditors, including reviewing aging and reconciliation records.
• Prepare detailed journal entries and account analysis.
• Assist in account transactions, checking, verification, and follow-up.
• Prepare timely monthly bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date monthly accounts and cash flow statements.
• Assist in collating and preparing information for finance reports.
• Liaise with external parties such as auditors and tax agents.

Job description

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and handle pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts (AP & AR) and all financial reporting activities.
• Monitor full set accounting for all branches from bookkeeping entry to full accounts including Trial Balance, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, GL, Inventory Control, Reconciliation, and monthly reporting.
• Manage debtors and creditors, including reviewing aging and reconciliation records.
• Prepare detailed journal entries and account analysis.
• Assist in account transactions, checking, verification, and follow-up.
• Prepare timely monthly bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and up-to-date monthly accounts, cash flow statements, staff claims, and various reports.
• Assist in collating, analyzing, summarizing, and preparing information for finance reports, audit, and tax purposes.
• Liaise with external parties such as company secretary, auditor, banker, tax agent, etc.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.
