Job summary

A food and beverage company in Malaysia is seeking an operations manager to oversee day-to-day functions at outlets. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with SOPs, managing staff hiring and training, and striving to improve customer service based on surveys. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a relevant field and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. This role requires traveling to different outlets and ability to work on weekends and public holidays.

Job description

Oversee day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth operation of the respective in-charged outlets; e.g., daily sales closing.

To ensure outlet staff strictly follow Standard Operating Procedure (SOP);

Responsible to bank in daily sales timely;

To monitor outlet’s cleanliness and hygiene standards according to Halal compliance and medical surveillance;

Responsible for outlet staff hiring, training and attendance;

Able to travel to several in-charged outlets;

Review customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service;

Perform other assignments as defined and delivered by the Regional Manager.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of working experience;

Preferably with experience in Food & Beverage retail/Restaurant Service experience is an advantage;

Good interpersonal and communication skills;

6 days per week (alternate Saturday) and able to work on weekend & public holiday;

Possess own transport and required to have own laptop/tablet;

Willing to travel when required;
