Job summary
A leading manufacturing firm in Penang is looking for a skilled individual to manage machine setup, perform preventive maintenance, and oversee quality assurance processes. The role demands at least a Cert/Diploma/Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 1-year experience in manufacturing. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. You must be flexible to work 12-hour rotating shifts and support ad-hoc issues during odd hours and weekends. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to quality and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year related working experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Willing to work on 12 hours rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
- Set up machines and conduct preventive maintenance.
- Reduce machine downtime and handle repairs.
- Support quality inspections and manage quality-related issues.
- Ensure all processes comply with standards and targets.
