Job Description
- Lead the implementation of IT and automation projects, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage the installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of software and hardware systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Oversee machine integration and Recipe Management System (RMS), ensuring reliable communication between machines and IT systems.
- Supervise system enhancement initiatives, including development, testing (functional, integration, regression), and deployment of new features.
- Provide guidance and support to the IT/Automation team, and act as the escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and user manuals to ensure knowledge transfer and audit compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Production, IT) and external vendors to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor system performance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and recommend technology upgrades to enhance operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, system integration, or automation within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, software development, and automation technologies, including Windows/Linux environments.
- Experience with programming languages (C#, Java, VB.NET) and database management (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
- Proven ability to manage teams, projects, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred and an added advantage.
