This role involves overseeing global sourcing and procurement, developing sourcing strategies for semiconductor assembly, and negotiating pricing with suppliers. Responsibilities
- Oversee direct and indirect sourcing and procurement activities.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for OSAT.
- Negotiate assembly and packaging pricing with suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to reduce costs.
- Manage a comprehensive cost roadmap database.
- Partner with Product Definition team for new product financial models.
- Provide administrative support for sourcing activities.
- Plan and lead quarterly business reviews with suppliers.

A leading global technology organization is seeking an experienced Director of Sourcing Strategy to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier management across its global supply chain.
- Oversee direct and indirect sourcing and procurement activities across global operations.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test), including assembly, lead frame, mold compound suppliers, and tooling vendors.
- Negotiate assembly and packaging pricing with suppliers to meet or exceed cost roadmap objectives.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and supplier engineers to reduce costs through value engineering initiatives.
- Create, maintain, and manage a comprehensive cost roadmap database covering fabrication, testing, logistics, and warehousing expenses.
- Partner with the Product Definition team to develop financial models for new products and work closely with the NPI (New Product Introduction) team on supplier identification, evaluation, design rule confirmation, and RFQ processes.
- Provide administrative support for all sourcing activities, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
- Plan and lead quarterly business reviews with fabrication and assembly suppliers to assess performance and align on strategic goals.
- Extensive experience in the design and assembly of semiconductor packages

- Strong experience in conducting business in Asia
- BS or MS in materials science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering.
