Job summary

A leading technology company in Penang is seeking a Customs Logistics Manager to oversee logistics operations, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and optimize warehouse efficiency. The successful candidate will have over three years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of supply chain processes. Qualifications

Communicate and collaborate with the business and financial departments to produce foreign trade documents and related information as required to complete the company's import and export orders customs clearance and logistics work;

According to the company's import and export business needs, to provide customs solutions, trade consulting and related process guidance;

Understanding of cross-border e-commerce operation mode, process and legal and regulatory requirements, to ensure the development of business and safety of goods;

Understand the operation mode of air, sea, railway, truck, express, and the delivery process of airports and shipping companies

Oversee and manage all warehouse operations

Ensure accuracy of inventory records, conduct regular audits, and resolve discrepancies.

Ensure the tidiness & cleanliness for warehouse and working area (5s)

Optimize warehouse space utilization and implement efficient warehouse layout

Coordinate with suppliers, shipping companies, and other stakeholders to meet delivery schedules

Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices

Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse activities, performance, and inventory levels.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor degree or above, Malay, English as a daily working language
  • More than 3 years’ experience in customs logistics, understanding of planning, production, warehousing and freight supply chain model, customs logistics experience in Penang Free Trade Zone is preferred
  • Proficient in ERP, SAP and other operating systems, skilled operation of Office and other office software
  • High supply chain professional skills, familiar with the procurement / planning / production / warehouse departments related to the operation and management.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, strong sense of responsibility, strong teamwork, quick response and team management skills
