A leading nutrition company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Sales Representative to drive territory medical marketing activities. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Nutrition or a related field and have 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities include building relationships with key stakeholders and providing updates on marketing and business trends. A strong customer focus and business acumen are essential for success in this role.
Execute territory medical marketing activities and ensure alignment within the medical marketing team, in compliance with internal and external codes.
Maintain close professional relationships with key opinion leaders, government officials, non-government bodies, associations, and other relevant stakeholders to further the interests of the company.
Provide timely updates to RNM/ANM on matters affecting sales, distribution, marketing, business trends, promotional activities, competitors’ activities, and other factors that may impact the company and/or its products.
Effectively articulate both the company’s and key competitors’ product knowledge through professional detailing, including countering competitors’ selling propositions.
Increase and maintain sales force effectiveness within the assigned territory to ensure sustainable business growth.
Possess a degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or any Science-related discipline.
Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in Sales (GP, Hospital, General, or equivalent). Experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be an added advantage. Fresh graduates with a Science background are welcome to apply.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of healthcare institutions and commercial managed care; experience in selling to healthcare institutions is preferred.
Customer-focused, with the ability to act with speed and decisiveness to achieve optimal results. Strong business acumen and a proven drive to grow market share.
Possess own transport and be willing to travel.
