Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider in Malaysia is seeking a Tech II Electrical & Electronics Engineering - Draftsman to prepare IFC designs and collaborate closely with various engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in engineering, proficiency in BIM modeling, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a construction/consulting firm.
  • Proficient in Revit BIM modeling software.
  • Understanding of relevant electrical/mechanical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare IFC design packages for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct complete clash detection and produce coordinated drawings.
  • Support preparation of MEP BOQs.
  • Develop as-built drawings based on installation.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, MEP Engineers, and QAQC teams.

Skills

Basic knowledge on Power/ Mechanical Engineering
Competency in Revit BIM modeling software

Job Description

Provide electrical and mechanical IFC drawings

Responsibilities: Please list at least 5 duties/accountabilities.

  • Prepare IFC design packages for electrical and mechanical systems under guidance of relevant Engineering personnel
  • Conduct complete clash detection & produce coordinated drawings.
  • Support preparation of MEP BOQs
  • Develop As built drawings by conducting actual installation measurements
  • Working with subcontractors, MEP Engineers, QAQC, Safety engineers & Vertiv procurement team
