A leading financial services firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Credit Analyst to provide independent credit opinions and recommendations. The role involves conducting fundamental credit analysis, monitoring market developments, and engaging with investment teams. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of fixed income research experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree. A CFA/CAIA designation is a plus.
We’re looking for a highly analytical and collaborative Credit Analyst to deliver independent, timely, and well-researched credit opinions and recommendations across a defined coverage universe. Your insights will directly support portfolio construction and risk management for our fixed income investment team, influencing performance and contributing to the firm’s growth in assets under management. In this role, you’ll conduct fundamental credit analysis, assign internal risk ratings, monitor market developments, and proactively identify risks and opportunities. You’ll also engage with regional investment and business development teams, and work cross-functionally with portfolio managers, ESG specialists, and client-facing teams — all while demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills.
