Job summary
A logistics company in Kota Kinabalu is seeking an individual to manage daily operations, delegate tasks, and ensure high customer service and compliance. The role requires leadership, basic Excel skills, and the ability to handle shifts and dynamic situations. Candidates with logistics experience and relevant educational qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Legally allowed to work in Sabah based on respective state law requirements.
- Willing to work on a rational shift basis depending on business needs.
- Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on the number of headcounts.
- Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team.
- Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor driver behavior and ensure high customer service.
- Assist in the deployment and training of new drivers.
Skills
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Basic Microsoft Excel skills
Familiarity with postcodes / routing / mapping
Ability to deal with ambiguous situations
Fast learner, comfortable with a dynamic environment
Education
Diploma / Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines

- Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on the number of headcounts
- Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team
- Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure all delivery activities are carried out in a timely manner
- Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service
- Assist the fleet team lead in the deployment and training of new drivers where applicable
- Monitor and report KPI compliance
- Ensure the compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection
Requirements
- Legally allowed to work in Sabah based on respective state law requirements
- Candidates currently based in Kota Kinabalu are encouraged to apply
- Willing to work on a rational shift basis depending on business needs
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage
- Familiarity with postcodes / routing / mapping would be of good use

- Working pattern: 45 working hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required
