Job summary

A logistics company in Sabah is seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage delivery activities and support driver teams. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and communication skills, be legally allowed to work in Sabah, and possess basic Microsoft Excel skills. Experience in logistics is advantageous. The position requires working in a dynamic environment and may include rotational shifts.

Job Description

• Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on the number of headcounts
• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure all delivery activities are carried out in a timely manner
• Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service
• Assist the fleet team lead in the deployment and training of new drivers where applicable
• Monitor and report KPI compliance
• Ensure the compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection

Requirements

• Legally allowed to work in Sabah based on respective state law requirements
• Candidates currently based in Sabah are encouraged to apply

• Basic Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage
• Familiarity with postcodes / routing / mapping would be of good use

• Diploma / Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines is advantageous
• Working pattern: 45 working hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required
