Job Summary
- Responsible for managing all inbound shipments under Ex-Works (EXW) terms, including cross-border imports and deliveries to East Malaysia.
- Ensures seamless coordination of inbound logistics, covering documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with local regulatory and product safety standards, including SIRIM, NOT, MDA, CTA and MY SAFE requirements.
- Works closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, QA, Procurement, and relevant authorities to ensure all incoming goods are compliant, timely, and properly documented before receipt into the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all inbound logistics operations from supplier pickup to warehouse delivery.
- Ensure complete and accurate import documentation and compliance with customs clearance procedures.
- Manage regulatory processes, including SIRIM, NOT, MDA, CTA and product safety approvals.
- Coordinate inbound movements for cross-border and East Malaysia shipments.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and authorities to ensure smooth shipment flow and timely delivery.
- Maintain proper documentation, shipment records, and compliance reports.
- Support continuous improvement of shipping procedures and ensure adherence to internal SOPs and regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in inbound/import logistics, including customs clearance and cross-border operations.
- Strong understanding of Incoterms (especially EXW).
- Familiar with Duty Examination, SIRIM, MDA, NOT, CTA & Product Safety approval /application.
- Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities.
- Excellent documentation accuracy, attention to detail, and regulatory awareness.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proactive, organised, and compliance-focused work ethic.
