We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Procurement & Purchasing Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain & Production Manager, this role is critical in overseeing the full spectrum of procurement and purchasing functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing strategies, vendor management, purchasing activities, and coordinating import and delivery logistics. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting daily business operations, resolving issues, and ensuring the seamless flow of materials and services to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies, including contracting, reporting, and supplier management such as qualification and development.
2. Manage planning, sourcing, and purchasing activities based on forecasts, including raising Purchase Orders and verifying invoices within SLA.
3. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate costs, reduce risks, and ensure timely service delivery.
4. Oversee import shipping, customs declarations, freight cost review, and documentation preparation.
5. Create and manage SKUs and process stock adjustments.
6. Prepare, analyze, and verify weekly sales and EDI reports.
7. Assist in coordinating and participating in stock counting activities and reconciliations.
8. Occasionally travel outside Malaysia for sourcing purposes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. 2-3 years of experience in procurement and purchasing, including planning, sourcing, vendor management, and delivery arrangements.
2. Attention to detail in specifications, contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
3. Strong negotiation skills for pricing, terms, and services.
4. Excellent communication skills in English, Malay, and Mandarin.
5. Analytical skills to assess supplier performance and market risks.
6. Willingness to delegate responsibilities as needed.
7. Occasional travel outside Malaysia for sourcing.
