Job summary

A logistics company in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Logistics Executive / Senior Executive to manage end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will handle import/export shipments, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and coordinate warehouse operations to optimize inventory management. A diploma in a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience are required, with preference for candidates proficient in Mandarin for liaising with suppliers in China.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience in logistics, import/export, customs clearance, and purchasing.
  • Experience in warehouse coordination and inventory control will be an added advantage.
  • Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for liaising with China-based suppliers.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive Logistics Executive / Senior Executive to manage end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations. This role covers import and export, customs clearance, warehouse coordination, purchasing, and administrative support, ensuring smooth and compliant business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage import/export shipments and handle customs clearance processes.

Prepare and maintain shipping, customs, and logistics documentation.

Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, warehouse teams, and suppliers.

Monitor stock movement, delivery schedules, and ensure inventory accuracy.

Coordinate warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch.

Ensure accurate stock records through regular stock count/cycle count and reconciliation.

Issue purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, and maintain vendor relationships.

Provide administrative support and prepare logistics and purchasing reports.

Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as directed by superior.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.

3–5 years’ experience in logistics, import/export, customs clearance, and purchasing.

Knowledge of Malaysian customs regulations and HS codes.

Proficient in MS Excel and logistics systems.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in warehouse coordination and inventory control will be an added advantage.

Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for liaising with China-based suppliers.
